We bring one of our Shetland ponies to your nursery or school for a visit the children will remember. Our visits are calm, safe and handled entirely by us, so staff can focus on the children.

We have visited a wide range of nurseries and schools, including inner city settings where some children have never seen or touched a horse before.

What children get from a visit

Children love learning about horses and many gain real confidence simply from being close to an animal for the first time. For those in inner city schools and nurseries who have never encountered a horse, the experience can be genuinely eye-opening.

Sessions are gentle and unhurried. No child is ever pushed to interact and we take our lead from each individual.

  • Children learn about horses in a hands-on, relaxed way
  • Stroking and grooming builds confidence and supports sensory development
  • Ideal for inner city settings where children may never have seen a horse before
  • Suitable for nurseries, primary schools and special educational settings
  • We arrive in a horsebox (side loading) and will need suitable space to park
